New Colombian Single Origin Release: La Suiza

La Suiza – Café de Mujer from Colombia

We’re excited to introduce La Suiza, our newest washed process single origin coffee. It is grown in the green area of Caldas, Colombia. This region has a warm climate that allows for year-round growth. This release is from our partners at Samaria. We had the honor of visiting the La Suiza farm last September to see the harvest up close.

La Suiza offers a sweet and floral profile with a bright citrus acidity and a long, juicy finish. In the cup, you will find flavors of panela, caramel, and orange peel. These are balanced by a rich chocolate base and a light complexity that makes you want another sip.

La Suiza is also known as Café de Mujer, or the women's coffee. This lot is grown and managed by two sisters who inherited their father’s farm and continued on in his legacy. Their dedication to sustainable farming is impressive. They grow unique varieties, such as Tabi. This makes the farm a strong example of quality in the area.

“La Suiza is one of those coffees that tells a story with every sip—bright, balanced, and incredibly clean. The kind of cup that reminds you why Colombian coffees continue to stand out.”
Kevin Wukasch, Lost Coffee’s Q Grader

Grown at 1,500 masl, this coffee is sun-dried for 24 hours and carefully washed to preserve its clarity and character. It shows what can happen when tradition meets innovation. This allows women to take the lead in specialty coffee.

We're proud to share this coffee with you and support the incredible women behind it. Now available online and at all Lost Coffee locations.
