We are excited to share our latest single origin: Rwanda Nyabumera. This is a naturally processed Red Bourbon. It is grown at 1,800 meters in the green, rainy hills of Nyamasheke.
Just two years ago, Nyabumera was a dormant washing station. But when Providence, a determined young entrepreneur, took it over, everything changed. With help from Rwanda Trading Company, the station was rebuilt. We restored the drying beds and repaired the tanks. A commitment to quality was also re-established.
Now, this micro-lot offers a vibrant, juicy cup that tells the story of revival, community impact, and craft.

Processing: Natural, dried on raised beds for 10–14 days

Chosen by a Certified Q-Grader
This coffee was hand-picked by Kevin, our in-house Q-Grader. He is a certified coffee expert. He is trained to check coffee quality using strict standards from the Coffee Quality Institute. Q-Graders are essentially the sommeliers of the coffee world, able to identify specialty coffees with precision. Kevin held many samples from this year’s Rwanda harvest. He was quickly attracted to Nyabumera. Its fruit clarity, smooth sweetness, and unique texture stood out to him.Â
