We’re proud to introduce our newest single origin: Rwanda Nyabumera—a naturally processed Red Bourbon grown at 1,800 meters in the lush, rainy hills of Nyamasheke.

Just two years ago, Nyabumera was a dormant washing station. But when Providence, a determined young entrepreneur, took it over, everything changed. With support from Rwanda Trading Company, the station was rebuilt from the ground up—drying beds restored, tanks repaired, and a commitment to quality re-established.

Now, this micro-lot offers a vibrant, juicy cup that tells the story of revival, community impact, and craft.

What We Taste:

🍷 Pinot Noir – Silky body with a wine-like finish and complexity

Processing: Natural, dried on raised beds for 10–14 days

Chosen by a Certified Q-Grader
This coffee was hand-selected by Kevin, our in-house Q-Grader—a certified coffee professional trained to evaluate coffee quality using rigorous standards set by the Coffee Quality Institute. Q-Graders are essentially the sommeliers of the coffee world, able to identify specialty coffees with precision. Kevin cupped dozens of offerings from this year’s Rwanda harvest and was immediately drawn to Nyabumera for its striking fruit clarity, velvety sweetness, and unique mouth feel structure. 

"As far as African coffees go, most people are familiar with natural coffees from Ethiopia, but Rwanda is quickly building a reputation of its own for beautiful natural process coffees as well. This is why it is quickly becoming one of my fav coffee origins.
